Fireworks on July 3 - Celebrating America 250

- Clio Area Community Council & the Clio Area Parks & Recreation Committee will be having the fireworks display on Friday, July 3.  They will be shot off from Bethany United Methodist Church at dusk.  Events are scheduled to begin at 3pm with a reading of the Declaration of Independence at Veterans Memorial Park downtown. Events in the Clio City Park are from 4pm - 7pm and include dozen of activities including rock painting, corn-hole games, bike decorating, military displays, pie eating contest, motorcycle display, ninja obstacle course, giveaways and more. Food trucks will also be on-site. Parking will not be available in the Park. 

- The Clio Rotary duck race will take place at 5pm. Tickets will be available at the event for $10. 

- The Genesee Valley Concert Band is scheduled to perform at 7pm at the Amphitheater, free of charge.  

- Fireworks at dusk. In the event of inclement weather - high winds and/or lightning - the rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 11 at 10:15pm.
