UPDATED ZONING ORDINANCE

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Public Hearing will be held by the City of Clio Planning Commission on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 6:00 PM at City Hall  (505 West Vienna Street, Clio, MI 48420) regarding the updated Zoning Ordinance.

The purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide an opportunity for any person interested in the proposed Zoning Ordinance text amendments to comment, prior to the Planning Commission making its recommendation to the Clio City Commission. The proposed text amendments include updates to the following Articles: Article 2: Definitions; Article 3: Building Regulations, Yards, Fences, and Driveways; Article 4: Zoning Districts; Article 5: Non-Conforming; Article 7: Off-street Parking; Article 10: Landscape Standards; Article 11: Design Standards; and Article 12: Condominiums, in order to provide more streamlined and consistent regulations for housing in the Clio community, both in residential neighborhoods and within the downtown area.

Written comments are welcome prior to the date and time of the Public Hearing and may be sent via mail to the City of Clio (Attn. Neil Rankin, City Administrator), 505 West Vienna Street, Clio, MI 48420.
